Part-Time Driver (Hours Needed: 12pm-6pm Daily; Up to 30 hours per week)

HopDrive is born from our founders’ vision to transform the way the automotive industry moves vehicles. We partner with those in the automotive space to remove the stress, hassle, and logistics of getting vehicles from one location to another for their organization and their customers. We aim to provide all our customers with an unmatched experience utilizing the obsessively engineered technology we’ve built from the ground up.

The story of HopDrive, once named Social Auto Transport, began in 2017 in Richmond, Virginia where we developed a ride-share platform that our highly skilled drivers utilize to accept gigs and provide on-demand execution for our customers. We are in full growth mode and in addition to adding three other teams on the east coast a multi-market expansion in Chapel Hill is underway for 2021.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles on behalf of auto dealerships and service center customers.
• Under the leadership of the market manager, you will work alongside the dispatch team in ensuring that all move requests are assigned to drivers and executed in a timely manner.
• Assist with driver recruitment efforts.
• Meet company compliance guidelines.
• Work safely and productively.

Job Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license + 3 years driving experience.
• Must be punctual and professional and knack for customer service.
• Continuous history of safe driving
• Must have schedule flexibility and be available during operating business hours.
• Self-starter - no hand holding here, we need someone who embraces the freedom to go figure things out with little to no direction.
• Passion for logistics-We are innovating a space that hasn't been touched in decades. We are looking for someone who can contribute ideas and geeks out about logistics as much as we do!
• Problem solver- Can quickly identify problems and present relevant solutions.
• Team player-we have fun and help each other out every day, we are looking for someone who can fit into our culture seamlessly.
• Previous transportation experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with working under pressure is desired.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
