Jones Law Office is seeking an experienced full-time Paralegal/practice manager to join our growing law firm! Successful candidates will work closely with clients and team members on a variety of cases during all phases of the litigation process. This person will handle all paralegal duties from start to finish. This person will manage our growing law practice.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents
  • Obtain, review and analyze/summarize medical records and prepare detailed correspondence regarding contents.
  • Draft pleadings and motions and file them with the court
  • Maintain court and company reporting deadlines
  • Perform administrative duties (including calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, review and proofread documents, etc.)
  • Prepare and answer Interrogatories and Requests for Production
  • Gather and review investigation from a variety of sources
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings
  • Oversee support staff

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • MS Office experience and proven ability to learn new computer systems and workflow processes
  • Solid background in managing calendars and scheduling meetings
  • Proven ability to listen effectively and to maintain strick client confidentiality
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • State, Federal, and/or Appellate Court knowledge a plus
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation,

Jones Law Office offers a competitive salary, benefit package, and flexible work environment. This position is eligible for performance bonuses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
