Responsibilities

The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty.

Description: Provides clinical and technical support to Radiology (Diagnostic Imaging) and Cardiology (GE) Medical Systems PACS environments, and Radiology Management System (RMS). The system administrator will be responsible for maintaining maximum uptime and system.


Qualifications

Education: Associates Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Clinical Engineering or Information Systems (work experience or professional certification may be substituted)

Experience: 4-5 or more years of technical experience in radiological hospital information systems with at least 2 years of Radiological Technology experience, preferably specializing in a digital modality such as CT or MRI and/or experience with PACS. Preferred Can

Technical Skills: Computer proficiency with basic windows applications including Office applications and email

License/Certification: ARRT preferred

Other: Familiarity with clinical terminology and understanding of clinical practice
