Job Responsibilities:

• Removes products from constantly moving conveyor belts and places finished products in appropriate boxes. When boxes are full of product, they are closed, labeled, and stacked appropriately on pallets.

• Use of heavy machinery to wrap and package all products removed from conveyors.

• Ensure all products meet quality control standards.

• Prepares orders on pallets to be ready for shipment.

• Maintains and rotates inventory of stocked products, as necessary.

• Support any other duties as necessary.

Working environment

• Typical work environment is in and around a variety of equipment to include hanging conveyor and packaging equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift, pull, push and guide medium weight objects (25 - 50 lbs.) on a continuous basis, with the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. on occasion.

• Ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop and bend on a continuous basis grabbing product from conveyor to be placed in packaging materials.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

• Sufficient hand-arm-eye coordination to guide objects into specific placement or alignment.

• Ability to perform work in a safe manner and follow directions with little supervision

• Strong communication skills in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, or the equivalent is required.

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not required.

• Previous experience in a with machinery and/or manufacturing is preferred, but not required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must be able lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $18.80 - $23.95 per hour
