Packager (FT) Job at Legend Brands
Legend Brands Company is hiring for
Packagers at our
Chandler AZ location. Operate filling and packaging equipment, including fillers, labelers, cappers, and coders, while ensuring correct fill levels are achieved by using a digital scale.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Good work ethic, self-motivated, good attendance.
- Read and understand Packaging Work orders and enter data upon completion of batch (Quantities, overages, damages, etc.)
- Must have basic computer skills (i.e. be able to use a computer mouse and keyboard. Know how to select dates within the software.
- Capable of using a calculator, electronic scales, programmable water meters, and other electrical equipment.
- Must be capable of learning forklift operation and pass certification training.
- Able to handle lifting requirements of the position (up to 60 lbs.)
- Must follow all company, safety, and hazardous material handling rules and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to manufacturing quality products and helping to control costs.
Must have the ability to learn, or previous experience in the following:
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Working with small hand tools and basic material handling equipment.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently to achieve daily production goals.
