We are looking for an independent and tenacious individual who is looking for a career opportunity with an industry innovator. We have one position open for a qualified candidate who resides in Whatcom County.

The Outside Sale Representative is responsible for prospecting new customers and managing an assigned pre-existing customer base within the defined regions by applying a consultative sales approach to uncover and address changing business needs. The Outside Sales Representative is expected to spend 60% of time on prospecting new customers.

The Outside Sales Representative is also responsible for continuous promotion of products and services offered by the company, must own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure and maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal customer relations management system (SageCRM), develop strategic territory business plans and maintain ongoing communication with sales manager.

Sales Territory is defined into two regions

  • Region 1: Snohomish County
  • Region 2: Skagit County

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of pipeline development and generating new business
  • Highly competitive, professional; exhibits integrity, sense of urgency and innate sales skills
  • Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Possess ability to sell value in a commodities industry
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess proven analytical/problem-solving solutions for the customer and the company
  • Experience with SageCRM or other computer-based sales management tool
  • Computer skills required
  • 2 years sales experience preferred
  • Petroleum, auto, transport or agriculture industry experience a plus

Compensation

Base Annual Salary Range: $52,000 to $80,000 dependent on experience

Quarterly commissions

Days Off – Employees will accrue 1 hour of paid time off for every 40 hours worked, one personal day on the 1st of January each year and six paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Other – Company provided vehicle, cell phone, and laptop. Employees may be eligible for an annual bonus.
