Kootenai Health is seeking for a dynamic and passionate Kootenai Outpatient Surgery Administrator to join our Outpatient Surgery Center – KOS!!

Under the direction of the Executive Director Surgical Services, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the center’s planning, development and operations. The center’s operations will be administered in a manner that provides total quality/safe healthcare services and a hospitable and caring service for patients, family members, friends, physicians and their staff and all other external clients.

What you will do:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate activities of clinical and business operations of the facility
  • Oversee professional medical/surgical nursing care for each patient
  • Knowledge of EPIC EHR
  • Implement entity specific policies and procedures affecting daily operations
  • Develop, directs, evaluates, and administers financial, administrative, personnel policies and procedures and standards of conduct that align with those of Kootenai Health
  • Monitors appropriate scheduling/staffing and activities of patients, physicians and personnel to ensure quality of services and cost effectiveness
  • Provides direction for employee training and motivation
  • Develop guidelines and standards for assuring compliance with state licensure, CMS, federal regulations (OSHA, CLIA, etc.) and accreditation
  • Head the activities of recruiting, selection, supervision and counseling of personnel

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Administrator, Director of Nursing or manager in a Multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center
  • Strong knowledge of state, regulatory, CMS and Joint Commission/DNV accrediting requirements
  • Licensed as a RN by the Idaho Board of Nursing OR licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the "multi-state privilege to practice" compact with Idaho
  • BSN required Master’s in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred. If BSN only, enrollment in master's program within 1 year of hire, with completion within 3 years of hire OR
  • If not RN-BSN, then Master’s in Business or Healthcare Administration required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
