Outpatient Physical Therapist - Rehab

Provides direct and indirect patient care to assist in the rehabilitation and restoration of normal body function after illness, surgery, and/or injury. Evaluates patients and implements comprehensive treatment plans. Supervises physical therapy assistants in relation to clinical care. Requirements:

• Minimum required: Bachelor's
• Preferred/desired: Master's degree or doctorate

Responsibilities:

• Provides optimal customer service
• Works in multiple venues and adjusts work schedule to meet department mission
• Provides community education in conjunction with hospital education programs
• Leads clinical team to include coordination of care
• Accurate and complete billing and documentation
• Performs specific task requests
• Provides optimal patient care
• Provides efficient patient care

Credentials - Essential:

• PT - Physical Therapist
• BLS - Basic Life Saving certification

Competencies and skills - Essential:

• Clear Communication Skills Both Written and Verbal
• Able to Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
• Able to Withstand Crisis Situations
• Has Skills to Provide Customer Service to Patients, Team Members and Visitors
• Knowledge and Experience with Electronic Health Records
• Experience With Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, Etc.

Education-Essential:

• Bachelor of Science (BS)
