Oculus Eyewear is hiring in Alamo Heights and (NEW) Stone Oak locations. Our newest store opened August 2023, offering high-quality services, a curated selection of handmade frames and sunglasses, as well as other luxury accessories. The ideal candidate must have an outgoing and energetic personality and enjoy interacting with people.
This is a full time position with SOME Saturdays required.
Job duties include, but are not limited to...
- Frame styling, advising on fit, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning of optical and sunglass frames.
- Selling, measuring, ordering, cutting, inspecting, and dispensing of optical quality prescription lenses.
- Corresponding with clients in person and following up via email, telephone, and text.
- Sufficient computer skills for operation of POS software and sales transactions.
- Maintaining the housekeeping and visual standards of the store.
- Taking photos and videos for social media
Requirements:
- Open-minded, hard-working & eager to learn
- Conversationalist who enjoys working with people
- Naturally motivated and organized
- Great energy, versatility and personal style
- One year experience in optical with dispensing experience a plus
- ABO Certified Ophthalmic Dispenser a plus
