The Operations Specialist is a key member of the operations and investment teams supporting trade processes, data management, reporting system, and portfolio management functions. This person will work closely with both the Investment and Operations Teams. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Trade order creation and execution
  • Post trade processing and resolving trade settlement issues in a timely manner
  • Client Reporting Support
  • Support Investment research & reporting
  • Investment and Operational Projects as needed
  • Identify workflow/system improvements and work with Investment and Operations teams to enact change.
  • Attend all training and information sharing meetings scheduled for the Platform team
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field preferred or commensurate career experience​
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated transferable customer service or relationship management skills, preferred​
  • 1 year of experience in financial industry, preferred
  • Knowledge of Financial Advisor office tools (i.e. Tamarac Reporting and Tamarac CRM) preferred​
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required​
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills​
  • Excellent extraordinary client service orientation​
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills​
  • Analytical and research skills​s
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve​
  • High level of attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
