What you can expect from this role:

The operations manager helps define and meet quarterly OKRs, oversees company KPIs and suggests areas for improvement. This role manages the company wide knowledge base, tools, systems, and processes as well as important cross-functional projects. If experienced in HR practices, this role will also support the People Operations team. The ideal candidate is able to manage important cross functional projects, create and maintain important company knowledge resources, support business systems, design thoughtful operational processes, and resolve problematic situations efficiently. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to see the big picture while managing the critical details.

What you will accomplish:

Managing the company Knowledge base

  • Designing, developing, and managing company information in our knowledge base, including regularly reviewing and maintaining information within the company.
  • Deploying training, communications, and awareness programs related to knowledge management.
  • Encouraging a knowledge-sharing culture across the organization. Collaborating with team members to capture new information that can be stored in the knowledge base.
  • Maintaining the knowledge management system and regularly conducting evaluations to gauge knowledge program effectiveness.

Managing Company Tools, Systems and Processes

  • Managing the development and implementations of strategies, programs, and initiatives that drive operational excellence and effectiveness by creating and defining processes, procedures, tools, policies, communications and metrics, and managing compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures.
  • Providing input into operating policies and procedures that promote best practices and assisting in developing and implementing training, tools, and systems that ensures the integration of best practices into the organization.
  • Gathering feedback and data to effectively evaluate the operating and business performance. Soliciting management, client, and team member feedback and generating ideas for improving operating performance.

Cross-Functional Project Management

  • Supporting the Head of Culture and Operations with cross-functional project management
  • Meeting with key stakeholders to align objectives and key results for the project. Writes project plan overview accordingly.
  • Designing, writing, managing and maintaining the Asana projects and supporting company in good Asana project management
  • Defining the RASCI for projects and working with all key stakeholders on how they will engage with the project.
  • Defining, measuring and meeting the outcomes for cross-functional projects
  • Meeting with key stakeholders to determine what sub-projects need to be completed in order to accomplish larger project goals. Aligns sub-project objectives and key deliverables for the larger project. Identify which sub-projects and tasks fall within your scope of work. Determine how these sub-projects are dependent on each other and manage accordingly. Help supporting members manage their projects accordingly.
  • Throughout projects: Identify roadblocks and challenges to project and raise and resolve with senior leaders. Make sure the project is moving forward at the identified pace.
  • Writing weekly project status reports and updates in Asana to keep everyone engaged and informed on the project progress.
  • Holding regular key stakeholder meetings to discuss projects and resolve any issues that need to be addressed.
  • Gathering feedback from key stakeholders on a regular basis and make any necessary adjustments.

Supporting People Operations

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting the People team
  • Managing the team’s overall work
  • Overseeing the team and ensure they work efficiently together within and across departments in a streamlined way
  • Together with business leaders, develop and drive forward a people strategy across the company
  • Ensure policies and processes focus on supporting and improving the employee experience across the entire lifecycle

  • Proficient with Google Workspaces
  • Proficient with other business systems: Asana, Slack, BambooHR, Slite, etc.

We provide a competitive salary range

$70,000 - $80,000/annual USD
