Location: 415 West Roy Parker Road, Ozark, AL 36360 We are looking for a new Operations Manager, Manufacturing to lead all aspects of production for the largest line in our Ozark, AL facility.

You will oversee safety, communication, coordination, problem resolution, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. You will have a team of Production Supervisors, Assistant Production Supervisors, Team Leads, and Operators. Internally, we call this role Department Manager. What you'll be doing: • Drive a culture of continuous safety and empower your team to speak up if they see something unsafe.

  • Collaborate and align with other departments regarding safety, communication, coordination, resolution, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. • Lead and develop your team to create strong engagement and healthy succession. • Organize and coordinate manufacturing for the entire department to minimize waste wherever possible. • Create safety culture through adherence to OJT training requirements, annual training, and enforcing adherence to established safe practices.
  • Ensure the Standard Work documentation is up-to-date and followed. This includes taking actions to correct routine audit deficiencies and customer quality complaints. • Manage manpower and partner with Recruiter to find and select the best talent. • Work with Production Planning to plan and schedule for your department and follow-up performance against estimates.
  • Recommend improvement ideas, new policies, or procedures. • Involved in managing tests of new materials and lean events. • Provide input to the annual budget and responsible for executing to budget. • Administer people functions, including recruiting, review and approval of job descriptions and salary classifications, and selection and placement of teammates.
