The Warehouse Manager leads the team of 30 full-time and 30 seasonal employees at our NYA fulfillment center and nearby satellite storage facilities. Our facility is approximately 275,000 sf. with an additional 70,000 sf. at remote locations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management best practices and be able to effectively lead and motivate their team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
• Manage and motivate a team of 30 full-time employees and up to 60 seasonal employees.
• Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of the warehouse.
• Monitor and optimize warehouse performance, including productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Hire and train warehouse staff as needed.
• Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work.
• Collaborate with leaders at all levels in the development and execution of short and long-term operational plans.
• Engage, motivate, and inspire operations across functional teams.
• Develop open lines of communication to continually monitor employee attitudes and concerns, and implement appropriate actions with input from Human Resources.
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software, including inventory management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
