Operations Assistant (Days) Job at Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages
Job Location: Abilene, TX
Work days/Shift Hours – if applicable:
Two shifts available:
Shift 1: Wednesday - Saturday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Shift 2: Sunday - Wednesday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
Compensation: Up to $20.00 / hour based on experience. Additional local incentives may apply such as an extra week of pay, referral bonuses and more.
General Purpose
This position is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer programs, projects and or processes specific to the QA Department
- Maintain QA database (includes yield and efficiency reports)
- Maintain lab equipment
- Maintain document retention files
- Maintain out-of-spec inventory; database, paperwork and disposition
- Participate in Quality Systems audits
- Maintain water treatment chemicals and supplies
- Maintain lab and office supplies
- Write, revise, review Standard Operating Procedures for QA Lab
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a high pace, high stress environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge is required
- Knowledge of SAP experience is preferred
- Previous experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures is preferred
- Self-motivated and team oriented
- Excellent follow-through skills
