OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Administrative Admin will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Head of Global Operations and Operations Directors in the Automotive industry module assembly sector. This role will involve performing a variety of administrative duties to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a proven track record of providing high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide administrative support to Operations Senior Leaders, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and preparing reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage communication between the operations and other key stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and external partners.
  • Coordinate Operations Leader’s calendars and schedules, ensuring that all meetings and appointments are scheduled efficiently and effectively.
  • Collect, review, analyze data and prepare reports, charts, budgets/forecasts, and other presentation materials utilizing Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as required, including research, data analysis, and project management.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, including operational reports and other critical documents.
  • Coordinate and maintain Operation’s Kaizen Roadmap team boards and strategic Initiatives status.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for events, meetings, and conferences, including catering, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
  • Prepares and distributes reports or other communications on a regular schedule.
  • Willingness to pitch-in and take on new projects as requested.
  • All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s or associates degree, business administration, or a similar field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
TRAVEL/LOCATION:
  • Travel Required: some travel is expected to our plants for projects and special meetings.
  • Ability to come to local Auburn Hills office as needed.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency in mind.
  • Above average problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite program
  • Strong team player with solid communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
