Operating Room RN Full time Job at USPI
Roswell Surgery Center is seeking an experienced OR RN to join our team. If you are someone who is patient-focused and interested in a balance between a professional life and personal life, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently seeking an OR RN to add to our clinical team. We are especially interested in candidates that possess strong experience in ortho.
The RN Operating Room Circulator is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedures. The RN Operating Room Circulator can expect to care for patients of all ages.
The RN Operating Room Circulator and other members of the surgical team position the patient correctly on the operating table. The RN Operating Room Circulator hooks up any necessary suction and cauterization equipment and assists the anesthetist or anesthesiologist with intubation. During the operation, the circulating nurse provides the surgical team with sterile fluids and medications as needed and also replenishes the surgical team's supplies if they need additional disposables or instruments. Each member of the surgical team has specific personal responsibilities, and maintaining big-picture oversight of the patient's condition is the circulating nurse's responsibility.

Required Skills:
Experience in Ortho required
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of Georgia.
Current American Heart BLS and ACLS certification and previous experience working as a circulator is required .
BSN preferred.
Required Experience:
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
