Job Description: The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) is seeking candidates 55 years of age and older for the position of Technical Analyst with the U.S. EPA Senior Environmental Employment Program (SEE). This position offers a hybrid schedule of in-person and telework.

General Summary: Performs analytical and management support functions that promote the efficient operation of the Office of Resource and Information (ORIM) in EPA’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO).

Qualifications: MUST be a minimum of 55 years of age (in accord with Public Law 98-313 and the Older American Workers Act), be a US citizen, and be eligible to work in the US. BA/BS.Minimum of 10 years related experience/training in: budget, financial management, strategic workforce planning, or administrative management programs. MUST be comfortable with the use of information technology (hardware, software, and applications).MUST have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Performs analytical and evaluative (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) work related to compliance with established policies, procedures, internal controls, or standards; programmatic or organizational efficiency and productivity; and/or achievement of established goals, objectives, and metrics. 25%

· Researches, analyzes/evaluates data for, processes, tracks/monitors, reports on, and/or responds to incoming assignments and requests, such as data calls from federal agencies or U.S. Environmental Protection Agency organizations, telework applications, remote work applications, personnel actions, and other assignments. 25%

· Researches, analyzes/evaluates data for, tracks/monitors, and reports on the status of information requests, such as Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and Congressional and other correspondence. 20%

· Evaluates, advises on, and implements the methods, procedures, and organization for records and information management (electronic and paper), directives review and clearance, communications. 10%

· Performs event management duties for conferences, training, award ceremonies, all-employee town halls, and other meetings, including (but not limited to) space or on-line access, logistics, agendas and materials, communications, set-up and clean-up, post-event surveys, and follow-up actions as needed. 10%

· Coordinate with purchasing officials on contracting, procurement, printing, and property management, including conducting market research to identify models/options, potential vendors, costs, and other considerations; conducting inventories; following up on the status of orders; and verifying that orders delivered are correct. 10%
