Crew Leader
Southwest Solutions Group is looking for a crew leader who is reliable, leads by example, and wants to engage, and train the team. This person must be proficient in the use of hand tools and be able to fabricate solutions in the field. They also must have the ability to organize, execute and use independent problem-solving skills to accomplish their goals. Also be energetic, positive, and self-motivated. Being a crew leader at Southwest Solutions Group is a new adventure every day. Examples of projects you could be working on include:

• Installing lockers at law enforcement and professional sport facilities

• Installing industrial parts storage automation at aircraft manufacturing facilities

• Installing military ammunition and weapons storage solutions at military bases

• Installing and configuring automated parcel lockers

• Installing bed lifts at hospitals to maximize their space

• Installing compact bookstack shelving at libraries

• Installing cabinets and caseworks for business

Pay: $24-$28 per hour
Job Responsibilities:

• Traveling to and from job sites (company vehicle provided)

• Lead a crew and make Jobsite decisions

• Prepares and maintains the installation job site, including safety compliance, work area cleanliness, and equipment rental.

• Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance

• Obtain sign off by customer for job completion.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Must have 5+ years of experience leading and training teams

• Must be able and available to travel 10%-25% out of the year to out-of-town projects

• Basic welding experience and fabrication are a plus

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record/history. Must be willing to pass a Department of Motor Vehicle Check and background check.

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Good organizational and follow-through skills, as well as a proven ability to maintain a professional image.

• Must be proficient in using computer applications like Microsoft word, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Experience in Industry is a plus

• Certifications are a plus.

Needs to be proficient in using Tools such as:

• Hammer drills

• Impact drills

• Laser Levels

• Circular saw, table saws

• Grinders

• Read Schematics

• Install manuals
