The Westmoreland Intermediate Unit is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Nurse position to support our Early Intervention program. This position works 184 days per school year.

The nurse provides, manages and coordinates health care services to preschool and school age students enrolled in WIU operated programs. The delivery of care involves the promotion and maintenance of wellness and the prevention of disease. This professional is qualified to provide school health-related information and services; assess, document and manage the health care needs of all children, including those with disabilities; and recognize symptoms and consequences of safety and environmental factors, and maintain ongoing relationships with stakeholders.

Education requirements: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program, Current PA RN License, Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification

Experience requirements: 0-2 Years directly-related experience required
