Night Audit Job at Shoals Suites and Slips
A part of the Guest Services Team, the Night Auditor handles sales and room reservations, checking guests in and out, handles guest requests and concerns with urgency and maintains the front desk, lobby, and office area in secure and professional manner. This position is also responsible for ensuring that operations are effectively and accurately closed for the day and prepared to re-open the next operating day. Correcting and eliminating errors or issues in the operation before rolling over into the next day are essential.
Job requirements include:
· Excellent customer service, phone etiquette and multi-tasking abilities.
· Proficiency in general accounting and office procedures.
· Computer skills, including but not limited to knowledge of property management system (PMS).
· Ability to reconcile all interfaces and balance with the PMS system audit.
· Ability to reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work.
· Take initiative and handle fast-paced environment without direct supervision
· Provide next day reports for management as required.
· Ability to address guest complaints, concerns, and/or requests in a polite, professional manner maintaining excellent guest services, and promptly report these issues to management.
· Confidence to walk the perimeter of the building to ensure that all doors are secured, and public areas are vacated per schedule following safety and security protocols.
· Assist with additional task during the overnight shift, including rate shop reports, rate adjustments, marketing research, and laundry.
Candidate requirements included:
· Availability to work 3rd shift.
· High school or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
