Network Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure high availability of customer’s IT infrastructure
Perform daily health check and routine scheduled maintenance. Review system logs and find
potential issues.
Architect and Build new DNS infrastructure as well as M&D
Troubleshoot and take ownership of incident until resolved
Complete service requests and execute changes assigned
Escalate issues/incidents to next level and follow-up until closure
Ensuring that the SLAs are met for all incident, problem, request, and change
Participate in root cause investigation.
Ensure that configuration backup of all the system/devices is up to date
Review logs/monitoring data/reports to identify capacity bottleneck and suggest for improvement
Generate the various reports required for operations management
Keep tickets up to date as per response SLA in ITSM(SNOW) tool
Contribute knowledge articles and update them in a timely manner when required
Technology Experience:
Hands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of DDI devices like
Infoblox or Ultra DNS
F5 LTM and GTM expertise is added advantage.
Troubleshooting skills or good knowledge on DDI.
Strong knowledge on NTP, DHCP and IP address management.
Good knowledge of OSI layer model and TCP/IP.
Strong knowledge in Linux
Managing and troubleshooting of DNS.
Understanding of any ticket driven process.
Performance Management & Optimization.
Knowledge of monitoring tools and reporting.
Experience working with some or all technologies below:
IPAM
DNS/DHCP/NTP
ACL
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
