Geographic locations in which MMSI currently operates include the U.S East, Gulf & West Coasts, and Alaska. The Corporate Office is located in Southern California (Ventura) and its Regional Boat Maintenance Center a technically advanced facility in Woodbine Georgia.


How you would make an impact/key responsibilities:


Join the dynamic MMSI team as the NECC Project Foreman in Woodbine, GA. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Direct Involvement and Oversight of Small Vessel Overhauls. Experience working with Navy Patrol Vessels under 65 feet a plus.
  • Documented experience with the overhaul of small vessel systems including hull, mechanical and electrical.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Projects, and Integrated Production Schedules a plus
  • Experience with Condition Found Reports, Testing and Inspection Plans, Haz Waste Reporting, Objective Quality Evidence Reports.
  • Conducts all aspects of routine overhaul and repairs of shipboard systems. Supervises and maintains required documentation. Navy Maintenance Database experience a plus.
  • Direct Oversight of marine engineering personnel and processes for safety compliance and quality assurance.
  • Directly assists with overhaul tasks to ensure that all contractual requirements are met, and qualified personnel are assigned to each task.
  • Maintains and executes on-time overhaul schedules using Microsoft Projects.
  • Coordinate schedules in the work affected areas with the MMSI Program Manager during the performance period of the delivery order.
  • Ensure compliance to all Company Policies and Procedures, USCG, Federal, State and Local Government Agencies regulations.
  • Reviews, Interprets and Executes Work Specs using Plans, Drawings, Boat Alterations, Liaison Action Requests, Manuals, Notes and Statement of Work.
  • Orders, Maintains, and Tracks Customer and Government Furnished Equipment including receipt inspections and coordination with vendors
  • Any other duties as required for the Contract performance.


Qualifications:


  • Documented experience with the overhaul of small vessel systems including hull, mechanical and electrical.
