Multi-Modality Radiology Technician

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is a 139-licensed bed, general acute care hospital. Our services include the latest, state-of-the-art medical technology and equipment, well-respected area physicians, and an upscale five-star hotel-like ambiance. Designed with patients and physicians in mind, HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress aims to be the hospital of choice for the northwest corridor.

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center.

What will you do in the role?
  • You will perform imaging procedures across multiple service lines; can also perform primary job duties in addition to at least 2 or more advanced imaging modalities.
  • You will perform diagnostic procedures by integrating scientific knowledge, technical skills, patient interaction and compassionate care. Able to recognize patient condition, assess and monitors patient vital signs, takes appropriate action in emergency situations essential for successful completion of procedures while maintaining quality patient care through the use of independent professional and ethical judgement.

Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited program for Radiology is required.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) is required.
  • Texas Medical Board License is required.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
  • Must be registered in at least two modalities (CT, MRI, Nuclear Med, Mammo)
