Loparex LLC is the worlds largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, and India. We are currently seeking an MRO/Capital Coordinator to join our Hammond, WI Team.


The purpose of the MRO/Capital Coordinator is to assure efficient plant operations by assisting in having the necessary raw materials, shipping and packaging materials, and MRO items available. This will include maintaining the appropriate amount of material on hand, such that inventory carrying costs and operating efficiency are balanced, and maintaining accurate inventories. Additionally, they will negotiate with suppliers in order to achieve short lead times and low cost, along with budgeting and coordinating plant capital projects.


PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create purchase orders and changes
  • Enter new part set-up, IVR (Item Vendor Relationships), and costs where existing generics are already in place
  • Provide new vendor form to corporate purchasing to set-up new vendors as necessary
  • Expedite deliveries as necessary
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies with suppliers
  • Coordinate with the Quality Department supplier visits to the plant as necessary
  • Visit suppliers as necessary
  • Order acknowledgements verification
  • Resolve, return material to the supplier as necessary, and follow-up on the receipt of appropriate credit
  • Write up capital request with the direction of the Engineering manager
  • Capital purchasing and budgeting
  • Capital project coordination


SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate all safety concerns, production issues, or other observations to Maintenance Supervisor or Team Manager.
  • Perform all job tasks in a safe manner, following all safety regulations and best safe work practices.
  • Perform other associated duties as assigned.


JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in related field required, or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Negotiating abilities
  • People skills
  • Strong mechanical/facilities background
