Job Title: MRI Technician - Radiology / Cardiology

Location: Atlanta, GA 30303

Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (20:00 - 08:30)

Job Duration: 13-week contract

Job Summary: The MRI Technician specializing in Radiology/Cardiology will perform MRI procedures on patients of various age groups in a hospital setting. The technician will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and possess expertise in conducting specific MRI procedures and utilizing relevant software and technologies.

Description:

  • Specialty: MRI Tech
  • Shift: Weekend nights, 8:00 pm - 8:30 am, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
  • Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
  • Work Setting: Inpatient
  • Hospital Level: Level I Trauma
  • Teaching Hospital

Skills and Procedures:

  • Proficient in working with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
  • Experience with contrast administration is preferred
  • Competency in performing various MRI procedures, including but not limited to Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, CINE (preferred), Diffusion (Non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resource (preferred), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is preferred
  • Proficient in working with Siemens MRI equipment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • ARRT Advanced Certification (specific to MRI)
  • Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience (Accepts first-time travelers)
