Ignited by customer needs and expectations, Ford Model e is creating a word-class experience for customers transitioning into the exciting world of battery electric vehicles. We are seeking a content developer that is a self starter and is able to deliver critical content to support Model e enrolled dealers in their transition to a digital purchase process. This person will move fast and drive the plan for winning.


As an operations and content analyst , this individual is directly responsible for the development and implementation of the content required to assist dealers with enrollment, activation, and ongoing use of Model e eCommerce. This role will work in close partnership with outside partners and product owners acquiring the skill set to be the SME of all dealer tools and Model e specific enhancements of these tools. This role will work with key business partners to achieve 95% activation of Model e enrolled dealers, and engage in ongoing dealer needs for Model e eCommerce.

Responsible for working across our experience design teams, product teams, agency Jackson Dawson, RE&T, field operations, and Model e Training teams to help to bring the dealer readiness strategy to life. Additionally, this analyst must be able to work in the “grey” and understand the power of iterating fast and learning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree
  • Experience either working directly with franchisees with a robust understanding of dealer business operations
  • Experience working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas
  • Experience in content creation/development
  • Experience of managing relationships and deliverables across the Enterprise
  • Self-starter capable of delivering in a resource-constrained environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Passion for delivering great customer experiences and have an ability to empathize with our d ealers
  • Strong critical thinking skills and proven application of Human Centered Design methods
  • Resiliency, as the position works regularly with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong oral and written communications (able to effectively assert point of view)
  • Ability to tell customer story through clear, compelling, and concise Journey/presentation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record of success in readiness planning – content creation, roadmap planning / rollout strategy
  • A strong communicator with the ability to adjust planning based on direct feedback from partners
  • Basic off a franchise model business strategy
  • Preferred eCommerce and/or digital rollout experience
  • 2+ years experience in content creation/development
  • Ability to conduct customer research, mine third party research, customer feedback and mine internal analytics

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for developing job aids, checklists, and videos to support Model e eCommerce dealer activation:
    • Coordinate with key partners to edit existing content and create net new content for the two new dealer tools
    • Lead implementation of content on Dealer Portal to meet activation kickoff deadline
    • Lead development of field webcasts/webinars to launch activation
    • Tracking dealer activation and coordinating with field ops to ensure completion
  • Collaborate with dealer purchase experience owner to map out and drive delivery of enabler for seamless experience at dealer level via tools and behaviors. Including identifying Dealer standard, tools, education and experience requirements
  • SME on dealer tools, system integrations, & dealer usage/execution of tools to support dealer eCommerce experience
  • Laisse with dealer tool product owners to understand technical changes (current & future)
  • Chief laisse with Model e Field Ops
  • Gather common dealer questions to update Q&A, training materials, etc.
  • Owns content, creation, and launch/timing of field and dealer communications
  • Responsible for all content to support dealer readiness tool
Laisse with contact center & consolidate customer sentiment for updated user stories
