MIG Welders 2nd Shift (Starts Immediately, Weekly Pay!!) Job at Co-Staff Corp.
Co-Staff is currently recruiting for MIG welders for a client in the greater Beloit area. All of these openings are temp-to-hire and are 2nd shift.
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift 4pm - 330am
- Shifts will vary based on OT needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Tig Responsibilities:
- Mig welding mild steel, sheet metal, stainless steel and other types of metal according to blueprint specification.
- Use of fixtures and jigs to secure parts in place according to designs.
- Some out of position welding.
- Lifting of up to 50lbs is required on a frequent basis.
- Use various measuring devices to ensure dimensions conform to product specs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of Tig welding experience in a production environment and/or applicable schooling. Experience in both Mig and Tig is a strong plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
- Technical training is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, micrometers and several other types of gages.
- Ability to work 8-10 hours standing, stooping, lifting, kneeling.
- Enthusiastic Attitude
- Good Attendance
- Ability to work well Individually as well as in a team environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a somewhat repetitive basis.
