This position does not provide a telework option. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Patuxent River, MD.


Tasks Performed:

Candidate to provide suppo1t to the program office in the development and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and other schedule related products.

Analyze and interpret program specific documents such as statements of work, integrated master plans, and work breakdown structures, and other program information gathered from program teams to develop an IMS. Shall ensure scheduling principles, processes, techniques and tools are applied properly thus ensuring schedule products are accurate, timely, and consistent. Establish and maintain business rhythms for schedule development and maintenance of the IMS. Establish a schedule baseline that reflects critical path and monitor and report variances to the baseline to program management as required.

Participate in program meetings and coordinate efforts with the appropriate technical and/or programmatic experts to ensure a complete and quality lMS. Perform schedule risk assessments and provide reports, analysis, and trending charts as required to assist in mitigating risks associated with achieving baseline scheduled. Develop and present graphic/oral presentations to assist program management who may require an understanding of scheduling related issues.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Candidate must have a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university. Experience cannot be substituted for education.
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in DoD platforms, understanding of the phases of the Defense Acquisition Life-Cycle of programs, and experience in using common scheduling tools.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Project and One Page, and Adobe products.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated good oral and written communication skills.
  • Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, complex security environment.

Security Clearance Required:

  • A final Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance.

Estimated Travel: 5-10%
