Job Description:


TMC Technologies is in search of an Mid-Level IT Analyst to support a federal client in Rosslyn, VA. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements. This position is considered to have a hybrid work schedule and will require on site work at least two days per week. The Mid-Level IT Analyst, in support of the Application Development & Web Services (ADWS) team, will:

  • The Application Development and Web Services Program provides best in class customized web application design, development and sustainment using advanced programming technologies for the CTS Directorate.
  • Leverages agile development framework practices to ensure product quality control and quick development timelines.
  • The ADWS team currently supports 200 Microsoft SharePoint team sites, 25 custom web-based applications, and 40 databases across the Department’s unclassified and classified network.
  • Provide management and secure configuration expertise for Microsoft Cloud based DevSecOps.
  • Provide coding expertise in line with established agile development practices (e.g., Cold Fusion 16, web HTML/XML, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint etc.).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure managed content is relevant and updated on a continual basis (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint).
  • Develops new Web applications through packaged and customized applications.
  • Creates Web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB or other languages to make business applications accessible.
  • Provide migration expertise for the transition of Cold Fusion web applications to O365 cloud instances (e.g., into Microsoft SharePoint and Teams application suites).
  • Develops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
  • Develops external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
  • Administrative support for modernization efforts to a custom reporting system and multiple custom Cold Fusion based web application used by Cybersecurity programs.
  • Prepare coding documentation and user functionality survey documentation.



  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • Possess A+, CCNA, CND, Net+, SSCP or equivalent certification required.
  • Has proficiency analyzing, enhances, installs, able to test and modify enterprise-wide operating systems for both new and existing systems.
  • Efficient in developing requirements, workflow and systems analysis.
  • Proficient with correcting program errors, Familiar with preparing operating instructions, can compile documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities.
  • Has skills necessary to establish standards for development and maintenance of new and existing products.
