Position Summary
Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for a full-time Business Consultant for the Small Business Development Center, available immediately. The successful candidate will provide confidential one-on-one management consulting services to new and established small businesses throughout the Mercer County region as well as manage counseling activities to ensure compliance with PASBDC standards. Must be able to support and promote Gannon’s mission.
Required Qualifications
Job Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent required, M.B.A. or C.P.A. or other advanced business degree preferred. • Five years experience as a Consultant or previous related experience in private sector required. • Strong verbal and written communication skills required. • Supervisory experience preferred. • Considerable knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, finance and marketing required. • Computer skills in Microsoft software, spreadsheets, and internet research required. • Ability to independently plan and organize one’s own activities and direct activities of other consultants as needed.
