We are seeking people that are honest, dependable and caring, to be mentors for adults with learning challenges; you can help them enjoy their lives so that they can live on their own and participate in community activities. We welcome applicants with or without experience in the field. You will be provided with training and supports to help you succeed. Creative scheduling is available to work around your needs.
There is a young woman living in family home that is looking to gain her independence back. She is seeking a mentor help her with communication skills, seeking a job in the community, training on house maintenance and personal care.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7am-6pm
Thursday and Friday 1pm-6pm
Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with no major violations in the last 10 years, motor vehicle insurance with a minimum liability limit of $100,000 Combined Single Limit or $100,000/$300,000 spilt limits, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
