We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for the Mental Health Technician part time position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The Mental Health Tech will maintain an ongoing awareness of clients’ whereabouts and maintain wellness and accountability reports.
  • Monitor and record all medications taken by clients.
  • Must participate in mental health treatment as needed.
  • Using a trauma informed approach will be a positive role model for the development of socialization and other skills for all residents.
  • Observe and assist clients at meals and snack times, especially noting those with diet restrictions or considerations.
  • Keep the supervisor informed of changes in appearance of behavior of the clients, needed supplies and any areas of concern.
  • Schedule, supervise, and assist as necessary with activities of daily living, doctor appointments and outing/in-house activities.
  • Record behavior and interactions of the clients with staff and peers.

Shifts Available:

  • 7:45 am - 4:15 pm
  • 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

  • $15.00 per hour plus shift differential: $1.00 per hour on evening and overnight shifts

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a geriatric or mental health treatment setting preferred.
  • Training and certification in Team, CPR/First Aid, and Basic Health needs.
  • Must have a valid driver license and auto insurance.
