Description
The Medical Social Worker provides clinical supervision for the Social work staff. Participates in the development of the plan of care, prepares clinical progress notes, works with the family, uses appropriate community resources, participates in the discharge planning and in- service programs and acts as a consultant to other agency personnel. This position may also provide clinical services to assigned patients.
- Master’s degree in social Work.
- Qualified social work assistant under the supervision of a qualified social worker.
- Two years of hospital experience required. Previous home care experience preferred.
- Competence to deal with clients of varying ages and stages of development is required
