We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in both primary care and urgent care settings and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a direct communicator and someone who honors their commitment to our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and other healthcare providers.
- Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage.
- Collect patient payments and process billing information.
- Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Provide information about primary care services and urgent care services.
- If needed, perform basic vital signs to help room patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
