Job Title: Medical Receptionist and Front Office Coordinator– Podiatry

The Beltsville Foot and Ankle Center specializes in treating all conditions related to the foot and ankle. Our podiatrists are certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and strive to provide our patients with the highest quality care through education and relevant treatment plans. We take pride in providing a comfortable friendly office experience and working together with our patients to find answers that will bring them immediate comfort and relief.

Medical Receptionist and Front Office Role:

The Beltsville Foot and Ankle Center is now hiring an experienced Medical Receptionist for an immediate, full-time position in Beltsville, MD. This is an exciting opportunity for a positive, customer service and detail-oriented professional to be part of our established and reputable podiatry practice.

Essential duties of this role include:

· Answering phones in a courteous and professional manner

· Greeting patients upon arrival

· Scheduling and confirming patient appointments

· Accurately collecting and data entry of patient demographic and insurance information

· Collecting balances and co-payments at time of service

· Scheduling patient’s follow up appointment as needed upon check out.

· Managing a consistent patient flow

· Other duties as assigned; This position will be cross trained in all aspects of the practice.

Medical Receptionist and Front Office Requirements:

· 3 years of progressive, customer service or front office experience; Medical office setting preferred but not required.

· Superior time management and multi-tasking skills

· Problem solving and good judgement

· Knowledge of e-clinical a plus

· Flexible work schedule based on patient care hours

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as passion to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
