Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center is now HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. Our hospital has served the healthcare needs of Panama City for more than 40 years. As a fully accredited, 238-bed facility, we offer comprehensive care, including advanced cardiac assessment and treatment, certified women's services and dedicated spaces for adult and pediatric emergency services.

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the Lab Director and Assistant Director, A Medical Laboratory Technician's role is to provide accurate laboratory results in a timely manner. Laboratory results aid clinical practitioners in confirming or ruling out diagnoses, monitoring chronic disease states, and analyzing the effects of medical therapies.

Qualifications:

• 2 year/Associate Degree from an accredited institution

• Florida Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technician

• 1-3 years preferred
