Medical Driver–CILA(Central Region)

• A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities. Clearbrook currently has 50+ CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each. ]
• In a Medical Driver, we are looking for an individual with a strong focus on the wellbeing of our clients and a preferred background in the transportation industry to transport our clients on a daily basis. The right candidates will be courteous, flexible, and focused on ensuring client safety.

Location: Arlington Heights, IL (& surrounding Cook County area)

Hours: Full-Time

Openings: 1

Schedule(s): Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40hrs/week)

Pay: $17.75/hr + Paid Training!

► Sign-on Bonus: Full-Time staff will receive total of $2,250 in bonuses the first year of employment with us!

Responsibilities:

• Providing transportation services to the clients living in any of our various Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) locations.
• Attending appointments with the clients, as needed.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of any client(s) being transported under the individual’s supervision.
• Providing supervision for clients in general socialization and hygiene skills, in accordance with the client’s individualized program plan.
• Taking initiative and allowing for flexibility when faced with unexpected situations, problems, tasks, and/or emergency situations.
• Maintaining a respectful, friendly, and supportive atmosphere, conducive to the clients’ overall growth and development.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be 21 years of age
• At least 1 year of related experience.
