PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the preparation of WIC clinic and functions under the direction of the RN during the physical assessment of clients: documents appropriate medical information; manages electronic medical records; maintains adequate medical supplies and assist receptionist with client services.

GOALS AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Exhibits person-centered professionalism
  • Prepares medical rooms for daily clinic activities
  • Complete anthropometrics and blood collection when requested by the RN
  • Clean and set up equipment and supplies before/after each appointment
  • Assist with management of Electronic Medical Records
  • Assist with Patient registration and check-in
  • Complete patient intake information
  • Medical billing - Coding and claims submission
  • Maintains an adequate inventory of medical supplies.
  • Cross train in the role of support staff to assist in office tasks as available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
