Medical Assistant/Receptionist Job at Nutrition and Health Associates, Inc.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the preparation of WIC clinic and functions under the direction of the RN during the physical assessment of clients: documents appropriate medical information; manages electronic medical records; maintains adequate medical supplies and assist receptionist with client services.
GOALS AND ACTIVITIES:
- Exhibits person-centered professionalism
- Prepares medical rooms for daily clinic activities
- Complete anthropometrics and blood collection when requested by the RN
- Clean and set up equipment and supplies before/after each appointment
- Assist with management of Electronic Medical Records
- Assist with Patient registration and check-in
- Complete patient intake information
- Medical billing - Coding and claims submission
- Maintains an adequate inventory of medical supplies.
- Cross train in the role of support staff to assist in office tasks as available.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
