Medical Assistant/CNA (On-site)

Exciting, growing company seeks a certified medical assistant or CNA to work regular day-time hours in our Rockville area office, doing outbound phone calling to patients. BlueStar TeleHealth provides Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) services to hospitals, healthcare clinics, and physician groups. BlueStar has customers located in all 50 states, and is growing very rapidly. We offer a pleasant work environment, and a nice bonus $ program (see below). Our Remote Patient Monitoring program places medical equipment in patient homes to monitor vital parameters such as blood pressure, temperature, etc.

We're looking for a Medical Assistant/CNA to monitor and onboard patients in the program, including:

-- supervising the shipping and activation of the equipment

-- helping patients use it (via the phone)

-- reviewing the data delivered by the system

-- notifying the clinical care team if warranted by the telehealth protocol

We're looking for local experienced people who can work in our office full-time, with regular daytime hours. Our MAs start with a base salary of $20 an hour, but that increases with positive reviews at 3 months ($21) and 6 months ($22). We also have a performance bonus program that can potentially raise hourly rate to around $26.

We seek professionals with the following qualifications:

• Healthcare experience
• MA or CNA certification is required
• Ability to spend hours/day on the phone with patients
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task
• Reliability and steady attendance to provide patient continuity and meet goals.
