Job Summary: The Medical Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day medical adminsitrative operations of our locations. This includes but is not limited to managing patient files, billing, scheduling appointments, and handling communications with our medical team and patients. The Medical Administrator must have excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Job Functions: Provide high quality, polite, caring and informed responses to patients queries to enable them to be directed to our most appropriate service in a safe, appropriate and patient centric manner.Administerall aspects of patient care and medical operations working closely with the Clinical Director. Support efficient and timely medical related administration such as invoices and billing, files, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.Workas part of a team to ensure we are responsive to patient feedback and find ways to continuously improve and streamline our processes and procedures as our medical practices develop. Meticulous centralized organization and upkeep of all related medical information. To include but not limited to vendors, health records, supplies, inventory, etc. Towork closely with the Clinical Director to track compliance items for all locations and ensure all medical compliance items are up to date. Filter all medical related requests to the appropriate individuals / departments.Reviewof all packing slips, medical invoices, etc to ensure we are properly billed and provide approvals to the Clinical Director/accounting team.Comprehensiveup to date documentation and organization of all medical operational processes, working with Clinical Director to develop best practices and SOPs.

Preferred Qualifications: AA/AS degree.Proficientwith medical terminology.Minimalthree years of medical record upkeep and maintenance, scheduling patients and providing follow up connections.Minimalthree years administrative support in the healthcare field.

Skills: Exhibits the use of effective communication skills, exceptional customer service, professionalism, promptness, trustworthiness, efficiency, and teamwork in all aspects of work.Highlyeffective at supporting our customers and patients in their transformative care experience that improves their overall health and well-being. Maintains a level of knowledge conducive to Next Health’s services: providing high quality and hospitable interactions and integrated medical care to every patient. Works closely with the Clinical Director, COO and medical team. Maintains and supports the optimized Next Health customer experience

Supervisory Responsibility: N/A

Working Conditions: This position spends most of her/his time sitting or standing in an office. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. There may be occasional needs to work weekends and evenings as part of the job.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS / HAZARDS: Minimal-None.

OSHA BLOOD BORNE CATEGORY: Category II - Minimal exposure to blood and body fluids.

Travel Requirements Travel to all LA/CA locations is expected.
