Responsibilities:

  • Create technical drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies based on SolidWorks models
  • Revise technical drawings based on engineering input
  • Peer-review existing drawings
  • Communicate effectively with engineers and technicians
  • Support efforts in the engineering change order process within PDM and make

associated changes to drawings and models

  • Evaluate tolerance stack-ups within assemblies to verify fit
  • Write work instructions for assemblies

Requirements:

  • Proficient with SolidWorks
  • Understanding of GD&T
  • ASME Y14.5 2018
  • Familiarity with CNC machining
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience

Preferences:

  • SolidWorks PDM experience
  • SolidWorks certification(s)
  • Experience drafting with the metric system
  • Metrology experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
