Mechanical Drafter Job at Groe Advisors LLC
Responsibilities:
- Create technical drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies based on SolidWorks models
- Revise technical drawings based on engineering input
- Peer-review existing drawings
- Communicate effectively with engineers and technicians
- Support efforts in the engineering change order process within PDM and make
associated changes to drawings and models
- Evaluate tolerance stack-ups within assemblies to verify fit
- Write work instructions for assemblies
Requirements:
- Proficient with SolidWorks
- Understanding of GD&T
- ASME Y14.5 2018
- Familiarity with CNC machining
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong mathematical ability
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Preferences:
- SolidWorks PDM experience
- SolidWorks certification(s)
- Experience drafting with the metric system
- Metrology experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
