We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Go Kart Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and upgrading a fleet of go karts used in our racing facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for racing, be able to work independently, and be able to perform a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on go karts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with go karts and determine the best course of action for repairs.
• Fabricate and install parts as needed, including welding and cutting metal.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance work performed on each go kart.
• Keep the workshop and tools clean and organized, and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training in automotive mechanics or related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience working with go karts or other small engine vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
