Hellas Construction, the leading sports construction company, is seeking a Certified John Deere Mechanic to join our team in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing John Deere construction equipment and will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on John Deere construction equipment, such as excavators, graders, roller, and loaders.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
- Communicate with management regarding equipment status and needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Certification as a John Deere Mechanic or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining John Deere construction equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Must have own tools, shop truck will be provided
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
