Job Overview:

We are seeking an innovative Marketing Manager to promote our company's brand and services. The primary function of the Marketing Manager is to optimize our marketing strategies and manage the marketing department's budget and staff. Additional areas of focus will be to prepare forecasts, create and manage the marketing calendars for multiple business units, internal marketing, video messaging and other creative projects. Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads is expected. An outstanding Marketing Manager will be someone whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability through self-motivation and customer focus. This is an Exempt position reporting to the COO.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Evaluate and optimize marketing and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate marketing strategies for multiple departments throughout the company.
  • Leverage social media to identify and acquire customers.
  • Keep informed of marketing strategies and trends.
  • Prepare and present regularly to senior management.
  • Develop social media marketing plans and programs.
  • Maintain online relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs.
  • Develop and maintain our third-party marketing consultant activities and relationships.
  • Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Develop new approaches for market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
  • Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
  • Provide marketing information by answering questions and requests.
  • Develop and manage the marketing department's annual budget by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Complete social media marketing department operational requirements by managing, scheduling, and following up on work results.
  • Manage sponsorship opportunities and charitable budget.
  • Support digital and mail campaigns.
  • Develop marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

Qualifications / Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of managing a marketing department.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing.
  • Proficient at leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools as well as ad-servicing tools.
  • Strong social media skills.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Familiar with financial planning and strategy.
