Primary mission:

The primary mission of the Marketing Coordinator is to help support Springboard Hospitality’s marketing efforts for Anvil Hotel, Cache House and Alpine House, coordinating efforts to create and report on impactful social media and marketing results.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the execution of thoughtful organic marketing, sales and social media strategies for our hotels, coordinating and executing marketing plans that address local and regional business objectives and challenges. Emphasizing on content calendar creation, community management, and influencer management, all while reporting on overall impact.

SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM

  • Reports to Hotel General Manager
  • Supports overall marketing for 2+ hotels
  • Part of the Hotel Team
  • Requires regular in person attendance

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in the execution of detailed social media and marketing plans for each hotel that include brand voice and visual direction, target audiences, and more, eventually providing campaign reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Support day-to-day management of copy, images, and hashtags for individual property account organic content calendars, creating both static and Story content.
  • Utilize Canva to create social media marketing materials, like Instagram Stories, Facebook event covers, etc.
  • Execute community management efforts for our properties, answering inbound queries from guests and coordinating with each property to resolve any needs.
  • Create monthly social media reports, explaining monthly insights and providing recommendations for performance optimization.
  • Support content creation photoshoots as needed, sourcing potential models and drafting contracts.
  • Maintain the digital asset library and provide recommendations for photoshoot needs, where applicable.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Perform tasks and coordinate with other functions to most effectively and efficiently perform work responsibilities and accomplish objectives on a timely basis.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as requested by HQ Sales, Marketing and Revenue leaders and other executive team members.
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

Prior Experience:

      • 1+ years of experience in social media management, or a similar role is required.

IT Expertise:

      • Knowledge of social media design, scheduling and reporting software. (e.g. Canva, Sprout, Later, etc.)
      • Advanced knowledge of computer software (including Office suite) and web analytics tools is preferred. Intermediate Photoshop knowledge is preferred.

Subject Expertise:

    • Experience creating social media campaigns across various platforms including deploying email campaigns through various CRM platforms.
      • Must have discriminating perceptions of text/graphic presentation and ability to execute designs.
      • Experience in analyzing social media marketing reports from various reporting tools.

OTHER EXPECTATIONS:

  • Abide by payroll policies, procedures and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all company safety and security procedures.
  • Travel required: As needed for hotel familiarization, content creation shoots and to meet with colleagues.
  • Hours Required: Must primarily work during Springboard Hospitality business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (PST), while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
