Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

As the Communications Specialist, the ideal candidate will be tasked with managing all internal and external communications for Quest Trust Company. The Communications Specialist is expected to be a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure, and meeting deadlines. The Communications Specialist will also work with key personnel to brainstorm content ideas aligning with the company’s strategy and various brand initiatives. The Communications Specialist will draft blog posts, press releases, email templates, and help with mail-outs, etc. In addition, the Communication Specialist will create relevant and timely messages/content for our clients and consumers while also assisting with the building of a variety of communications programs to increase customer satisfaction and enhance overall customer experience.

  • Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies, and keep up-to-date with relevant developments.
  • Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring that we produce a high-quality and error-free copy.
  • Work with key personnel to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
  • Research, write, optimize, and build effective and engaging digital and print content
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales as well as other departments to identify content needs
  • Collaborate with SEO company and Paid Media Specialist to create content that aligns with brand’s objective and incorporate keywords and SEO strategies that will help increase traffic
  • Generate new ideas around industry-related topics to identify areas of need and provide feedback on improving our website content
  • Analyze competitor communication to ensure we ae emphasizing our points of differentiation
  • Regularly monitor and update website content to ensure that its current
  • Repurpose content to fit the publishing media, video production or social media
  • Help create and execute a content strategy using various channels
  • Help create an editorial calendar across channels
  • Measure results for content (blogs, press releases, etc.)
  • Perform other job-related duties as required

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma is required
  • College Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of directly job-related experience is recommended

Skills & Qualifications

  • Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to grow and accept new challenges
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
  • Must be adaptable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
