Job Title: Manufacturing Production Co-Op


Job Location: Lemont Furnace, PA (Uniontown area)


Position Summary

Work closely with and assist technicians in the conduct of various manufacturing assembly assignments.


Duties and Responsibilities: The part-time (Up to 20 hours per week) Manufacturing/Production Co-Op is responsible for performing tasks as directed which includes the following but is not limited to these tasks:

  • Build harnesses, cables, and various electrical sub-assemblies under the supervision of technicians and specialists
  • Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of technicians and specialists
  • Competing assigned tasks on time
  • Gather and assemble data for technicians and specialists
  • Assist technicians and specialists with appropriate design details
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs, and practices
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school or college degree program (technical field)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is preferred
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude

Additional Desirable Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Good manual skills and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting (up to 20 lbs.): up to 25% of time
  • Walking: up to 25% of time
  • Climbing, Bending, Standing, Stooping: up to 10% of time
  • Sitting: up to 75% of time

AAC works on a 9/80 compressed work schedule whereby employees work 80 hours in 2 weeks with every other Friday off.
