Currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Laborer/Winder to work locally within Baton Rouge, La.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

The rate of pay is starting at $14 per hour.

Summary:

Winder will perform daily production in the pipe department along with the lead and other operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met with the highest regard for safety and quality.

Requirements:

Complete the daily pipe schedule in both Durawinder and MVP winder.

Program new and current recipes into the MVP computer-controlled panel, per Standard Work.

Ensure pipes are made according to the given specs and Standard Work provided.

Optimize material and labor to the highest level of productivity.

Follow operator level TPM to ensure tools and equipment will perform at the highest level of efficiency on a daily basis.

Reports to his/her supervisor for all unsolved problems providing root cause/countermeasures to resolve any issue regarding Delivery and Cost.

Ensures product quality by operating machines under operation procedures.

Verify and record the daily production activity.

Make sure the products are in compliance with quality standards from the Inspection checklist.

Maintains quality tools, equipment, tapes, and gauges in good order and good condition.

Reports errors related to machines, tools, and equipment to the Value Stream Supervisor.

Reports to his/her supervisor for all unsolved problems providing root cause/countermeasures to resolve any issue regarding Quality.

Ensures product quality by operating machines under operation procedures.

Participate in all training provided by FPI to increase knowledge in aspects of Plant operations, product knowledge, and process knowledge.

Learn how to operate all equipment and Standard Work including programming original and current recipes on both Durawinder and MVP winder.

Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
