JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer II Travel Required

REPORTS TO: Vice President – MEP Division

Would you like to join an innovative and award-winning team working on state-of-the-art commercial and industrial buildings? Fisher Construction Group is seeking a self-driven Manufacturing Engineer who will apply engineering principals to projects and exceed our clients’ expectations.

Fisher is a leading general contracting firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest and is one of the largest builders of industrial and commercial projects in the food processing and cold storage industries in the U.S..

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Five years of experience coordinating projects in manufacturing and/or processing/manufacturing equipment. Understanding design and installation is helpful. Experience with food processing, raw product handling and packaging engineering preferred.

Prior experience in project management and leading capital projects from concept to completion preferred.

Ability to travel to distant construction sites, which may include extended stays. * Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Knowledge of best practices, statutes, and codes pertaining to installation and operation of manufacturing and processing systems.

Ability to apply engineering principles and practices to HVAC, refrigeration, process piping, processing equipment and process support equipment.

Ability to prepare technical plans, drawings and bid documents.

Demonstrated competence in Autocad and MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects and Access.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on customer service skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Fisher Construction Group provides a highly-competitive wage and benefits package. Depending on experience, employment offers will range between $94,021 to $122,228 annually, with a potential annual performance bonus up to $16,500.00
