Manual Machine Operator Job at Acara Solutions
Acara Solutions is looking for a Manual Machine Operator for our client located in Hoffman Estates, IL
- Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions.
- To use micrometer to measure thickness of material.
- To operate manual manufacturing machine (Rolling press, SMG cutting press) to produce product.
- To trouble shoots automated press to continue producing product.
- To use hand tools (wrench, pliers, screwdrivers) to assemble product.
- Assemble, test, and pack product using variety of hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and computerized equipment.
Pay and Benefits
- The Salary for this position is $20.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Required Experience:
Knowledge:
HS diploma or equivalent required.
Millings experience a plus.
Must be computer literate, knowledgeable in word and e-mails for general communications.
Experience:
1-3 years' experience in area of responsibility.
Ability to read, interpret and follow prints, diagrams, written and oral work instructions and other written documentation relevant to production.- Good working knowledge of measure units American standards and metric.
- Assemble, test, and pack product using variety of hand tools, pneumatic drivers and computerized equipment.
- Perform in process checks to ensure accuracy of work. Must have good eye for detail.
- Complete production on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Ability to read and use measuring tools. (Micrometers, calipers)
- Self-starter must be able to work on his own with limited supervision and have good communication skills.
